Why Give?

  • Elmhurst Parks Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization that supports the work of the Elmhurst Park District.

  • Much of what Elmhurst Park District provides would not be possible with tax dollars alone. Private help and strong partnerships are essential if we are to continue to enhance our recreation and parks system

  • Elmhurst Parks Foundation was founded in 1985 as People for Elmhurst Parks. The Foundation has raised over $500,000 in our 40 year history.

  • Through our Recreation Assistance Fund, the Foundation provides financial assistance to Elmhurst families in need so they can participate in District recreational programs

  • We are dedicated to providing dedicated funds toward the continued historic preservation of Wilder Mansion through our Wilder Mansion Preservation Fund.

  • We have played a significant role in providing support for special Park District projects, including the Playground for Everyone, Safety Town, & the Spring Rd. Gazebo.
